The Coachman VIP caravan range is designed to bring class to your caravanning experience – and if you’re looking for a more upmarket model, the 575/4 won’t disappoint. In today’s 2015 Coachman VIP 575/4 review, we’ll take a look at everything this clever caravan has to offer.

Design

For quality and comfort, the Coachman VIP 575/4 won’t let you down. With its spacious sleeping area, this 4 berth caravan guarantees you will snooze in style – a quality that many caravans lack. Thoughtful features like a shower outlet and an external gas BBQ point all add to the luxury of the 575/4. With seven radiators, this is the first single-axle to come with an Alde heating system, making it suitable for use all year round. The design effort here is obvious, but where this VIP is let down is with its asymmetrical exterior – meaning plenty of windows on one side, and a stretch of white on the other side of the caravan. Despite this minor aesthetic flaw, there’s no doubt the Coachman VIP 575/4 excels with its styling.

Striped splashback and speckled slate work tops bring style to the interior of the Coachman VIP 575/4, along with the contemporary flooring and upholstery. The lounge will comfortably fit four adults and a free standing table is tucked neatly away in the kitchen, maximising space. While the double bed formed by the lounge seats is narrower than you might like, it can comfortably fit two people – and is only like to make an appearance when you have guests staying. The 575/4 comes with a dual-fuel hob, and a separate oven and grill – while a large food preparation area is conveniently placed near the fridge/freezer. Keeping with the styling, the microwave is neatly tucked away in its own cupboard. LED mood lighting throughout the lounge area creates ambience and a real sense of luxury.

Moving into the rear of the caravan, if you fold across the fabric screen, the bedroom is spacious yet private – with its own en suite bathroom. The chic styling of the VIP continues into the bedroom area, with wood finishing across all drawers and cupboards. If you need a little extra space, the bed can be extended by tipping the mattress up and sliding the bed frame forward. Alternatively, it can be slid back into place to make a spacious walkway through to the en suite. Although the Coachman VIP comes with plenty of bedroom storage, there’s a generous amount of space under the bed if you want to tidy away luggage – and this can also be accessed from outside. The roomy washroom also comes with plenty of storage – with its heated towel rail and backlit mirror exuding the luxury that runs throughout the Coachman.
